Only cell pics because I’m up here for work.
And a thing that I did not know was in the states... THE 507. The King’s 507.
And since I was in town for work, I got to drive basically a BMW to the museum. Straight 6 and RWD, so close enough, right? Right?

I find it odd how “worn” that Z1 looks, especially compared to the pristine Z8 right next to it. Nothing wrong with it, it’s just rather stark in such a clean and orderly environment.

Please bring me this as a souvenir.

I can’t confirm that this is the case, but they have an i8 that you can climb in with similar marks, so they could have used the Z1 for that.

I visited once in the summer of 2003, when I was in the area for work. I’ve always wanted to go back again, but haven’t been in the area since.
Sweet pics!

That makes a lot of sense, given the scuff marks.
Do all Z1's have terrible panel gap as well, and I’m just now noticing? :p

Nope I called it already. You can have the Z1

I think it has something to do with them being removable.

There is also a Z4 M Roadster with a BMW Individual package that is slotted somewhere in the museum that is done with a nautical theme, including sealed teak. Or maybe I’m inventing things that they *should* have, as it would be funny.

I pass this all the time on work travel, never feel like I have time to stop. I’m going to have to make a weekend trip, now that I see what is in store. Thanks!

I’d make it a weekend that you go to C&C, as while it’s cool, that is it.
